About
Peeku helps you rest your eyes, take regular walks, and start the macOS screen saver when you leave your desk. BREAKS AT A GLANCE The menu-bar panel shows when your next Eye rest and Walk are due. Gentle reminders keep the routine visible without taking over your screen, and a Peeku-confirmed walk away resets the Walk timer when you return. PRIVATE WALK-AWAY LOCKING When Auto Lock is enabled in Settings, Peeku uses the built-in camera to check whether someone is still in the wider frame, then waits for the delay you choose before starting the screen saver. Looking away, turning your head, or briefly leaving the camera's centre does not count as leaving. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Camera analysis happens on your Mac using Apple's Vision framework. Peeku uploads no camera frames and keeps no cloud presence history. Optional Settings Sync is off by default; if enabled, it uses iCloud for reminder and lock preferences plus a change time and random app-scoped reconciliation token. The token is not a hardware, Bluetooth, device, account, or purchase identifier. Device details and notification URLs stay local. No Peeku account, analytics, or tracking. YOU STAY IN CONTROL Auto Lock is configured in Settings and is off until you turn it on. A password lock requires ‘Require password after screen saver begins’ set to Immediately.
